October 26, 2020-Spelling Words


Here are new spelling words for this week. Great job on your spelling tests Grade Ones! I can definitely tell you are practicing at home. 

Photo re-takes will be on Wednesday at 9 am. Please send a note with your child if you would like retakes. If you would like to order photos, please send your order forms in as soon as possible. 

On Thursday, October 29, we will be celebrating Halloween as a class after lunch. If students are participating by wearing costumes, students must bring their costumes to school and they will put their costume on after lunch. Students must still wear a mask while they wear their costume. Please do not have your child wear their costume to school in the morning. Students do not have to wear a costume.  

This year, we can not bring in food to share during our "class parties". Instead, students may bring an extra special snack for themselves to eat during our class party. Please do not send candy with your child to school.  

Keep up the great work with the reading practice and spelling words practice!

Tomorrow is our first day of online school! I have sent home a paper package with your child in their backpack today. You will find a letter, our schedule, and all of the papers we will use for learning.  Today, we practiced logging in to our Google Classroom. All students have the Google Classroom login info in their folder. Some assignments are online. These must be completed.  I will miss you all! I am excited to return to school in-person.  "We did interesting computers!"-Korbin  "We played badminton in gym!"-Angelina "We did our bags!"-Saqui "We just finished music and we listened to calming music!"-Zara "We did radical reading!"-William  "We did very fun gym and played badminton!"-Ella Please do your home reading over the break!
